Post Your happiest day involving getting a video or dvd

Mine would have to be when I got FAMILY GUY VOL 1, BONNIE & CLYDE, FUTURAMA VOL 1, FRITZ THE CAT and NINE LIVES OF FRITZ THE CAT when I got home from school. Waiting on my porch with the AMAZON.com logo. Memories

Seeing Nekromantik for the first time. The DVD was a bitch to find, but I finally found a site that had it in stock. Thanks, Xploited Cinema! My next "happy day" will be when BF2 comes out.

My happy day will be when Monster Squad and both Tales From The Crypt movies come out on DVD.

So far my happy moments are:

- Army of Darkness (Region3)
- From Dusk Till Dawn - 2-disc SE
- Interview with a Vampire having a DTS track

My story is unique. Well my husband and I were short on cash one day so we had a choice to either get a DVD or my birth control pills. Guess what we picked? Now every time I look at Funny Farm I think how my daughter Dahlia was conceived

When I first got a DVD player finding any old favorites on DVD got me happy. I think the happiest day was when I first got my DVD player and found Taxi Driver. Second happiest was when I got Dawn of the Dead in the mail.

Yep. Xploited Cinema is great. In fact, I'm waiting for Nekromantik, a German DVD release of Blood & Black Lace and the "explicit" cover for Unearthed Films' Flower of Flesh and Blood DVD to arrive in the mail......all from Xploited Cinema.
The happy day for me was when Argento's Suspiria was released.

will probably be when Matrix Reloaded comes out in October (just heard the news on E!) or when the Dawn of the Dead hopefully comes out next February.

TODAY! I just got the Olaf Ittenbach Collection in the mail...

Now in a few weeks when Blood Feast 2 comes my way, that will be a pretty darn happy day too!

When I received the Halloween LE 2 dics DVD that I finally won on Ebay after multiples tries.

Also, I was real excited when I got my very first laserdisc, also Halloween, but the Criterion CAV Edition.

Other fine moments inlcude getting the following in the mail:

- Suspiria LE

- TCM Elite Laserdisc Collectors' Edition (there's still no equivalent on DVD)

- Highlander 10th anniversary Collector's Edition Laserdisc

One of my happiest was finally snagging CEMETERY MAN and RE-ANIMATOR uncut after being outbid countless times. DVD-wise...either finally embracing the SUSPIRIA LE or...something else...
