Close enough.

This sounds... really... really fun! I'm there. Loved the first 2 flicks anyway.

I haven't read the link (I hate knowing anything about a movie in advance) but I enjoyed the last one soooo much that I will catch it anyway.

Actually all though they are quite hated(except by me I think) all three Scream films turned a real good profit. The first one made for 14 million ended up making 103 million. The second made 101 million and the third one made 89 million.

So what was it that I head about this being "Final Destination 3D"? Was it just some rumor or an actual idea being kicked around?

A New Destination for 'Final Destination 3'?

Quote:
We've confirmed reports that New Line Cinema's Final Destination 3 has gone under a few reshoots for the final version of the film. Apparently the film tested really well with audiences in California, only the finale was not completed and was the only weak spot in the film. From what we've been told, director James Wong has only made the film better than it's early cut and we will still see the film in theaters February 10, 2006. No details about what we'll see were revealed to us. The film, which opens with an amazing rollercoaster disaster, stars Ryan Merriman, Mary Winstead, Texas Battle, Alexz Johnson, Sam Easton, Kris Lemche, Jesse Moss, Gina Holden and Chelan Simmons.

A LOOK AT FINAL DESTINATION 3

Quote:
Bloody Disgusting was recently notified that there's a behind the scenes video of Final Destination 3 online. It's on the Amazon pre-order page for a boxset of the first two Final Destination movies.

The video's short but sweet- shows how much work went into the rollercoaster scene.

The dvd pack itself is not bad a deal either- 15 bucks for 2 really fun films plus a 20 minute preview disc for Final Destination 3 (and even a free movie ticket!)

This is perfect for me, as I've been putting off buying these even though the second was one of the most fun times i've had in a movie theater. Just something about such satisfying kills that really gets the juices flowing, ya know?

Hopefully the rollercoaster ride can match the intensity of the first two accidents.

A Sneak Preview of a Carnival Death

Quote:
With the official website ready for launch this Friday, and a major contest as well, New Line Cinema is ready to pull out all stops to get the hype flowing for Final Destination 3, which is set to hit theaters February 10th. Today Dread Central scored a look at one of the carnival posters from the film, which is said to give us a "clue" on how one of the victims die. Read on and start guessing...

In the trailers, the CGI of the roller-coaster ride looked pretty dodgy -- especially for being the "money shot."
