Does anyone else do this?
I have a collection of movies I watch once every year or six months to remind me how bad films can get.
Among these films are: Halloween Night Ghosthouse Night of the Living Dead 30th Anniversary Edition 1990: The Bronx Warriors (and it's sequel Escape From the Bronx) Breeders Does anyone else have a collection like this to cleanse their palette (sp?) for good movies? |

I watch enough bad movies by accident that I seldom feel the need to rewatch them.
For instance, I doubt that I will ever rewatch The Mountaintop Motel Massacre because it was a terrible movie. On the other hand, if I did not care for a movie, but I read and hear a lot of other people talk about how good it is, I will often times go back and give the movie a second watch. If the second viewing changes my mind, that is great. If I still do not like it, I usually just give up on the movie. |

Sleepaway Camp 3. I just really don't like this movie.

I like to watch bad films for the pure joy of them. Ed Wood is always a good watch. One of my favorites is Al Adamson. Andy milligans films are........ pretty different. Something Weird Video dvd's are great. Love the special features and the scare films they include. Troma,(even though some can be almost unwatchable) have a great feeling of pleasure through pain attributed to some , and they do make the better movies just that much better.

My list of bad films that I love to watch:
Nightmare City Breeders The Beyond Cannibal Ferox Exorcism I Spit on Your Grave Last House on the Left The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) Although I love all of these films and most of them are beautifully made (with a couple big expections), there are many different things that bring them down (i.e. bad dubbing, horrible dialogue, or some bad special effects). These aren't all of the films on my list, but these are ones I can think of off the top of my head. I have no idea what attracts me to them, but for some reason I love these films.
