I personally cannot enjoy this film due to the animal cruelty...

sorry but watching real animal deaths does not "entertain" me....

that's why I'll be using the FF button on the remote during those scenes.

I got mine, and the menus dont respond in any of my three players. Occasionally the image freezes for a few seconds in one of them too.

It's been a while since I last saw this, and maybe my tastes have changed, as it's boring me on end.

But most of us can scarf down a steak without a moments thought or two pounds of chicken wings. Or go hunting with your dad and kill a couple of dear for the sport of it.

I don't think any of us watch Cannibal Holocaust for the animal cruelty. it just unfortunately happens to be the film. You can either look at it for what it is, which is a film that comes from a time in horror history when film makers unfortunately used animal killings as part of the shock value . Or you can let it bother you and don't watch it at all. Watching the film does in no way mean you condone the senseless slaughter of animals though.

I got the disc today. I only popped through it quickly this morning, but the transfer looked great. I was afraid that the color might be all out of whack and oversatured, like the Ultrabit release of House by the Cemetery appears to be. Thankfully, the colors looked right to me in comparison to how I remember Grindhouse's theatrical print looking a few months ago. My TV isn't anything special, so I'm not in a position to say whether the transfer meets the requirements of those with high-end displays, but it looks wonderful to me.
