Why dont they just remake every fucking horror movie? Just take 30 years, don't make anything new, just remakes. Let Hollywood get it out of their system, then make new horror movies.

I thought the original Howling was ho-hum anyway so I would be interested in seeing a remake.

This may not be a remake so much as a new adaptation of the original novel. Maybe this time the movie will actually be faithful to the novel, as Dante's film really wasn't.

I love the original movie, and I do not really see a need to remake it. But they will do it anyway, and being the movie whore that I am, I know that I will end up watching it.

Yeah, not a huge fan of original, so remake by me is fine. Needs an update!

Isn't that basically what Howling IV was?

The original is probably my favourite werewolf film of all time. I don't mind the remake but I'm quite sure it won't be nearly as good. I'll probably go watch it since there's no way it'll be as bad as the sequels.

I love the original too much for there to be a remake. Terrible idea, just terrible. They just shouldn't "go there". Aren't there 10 unrelated sequels? Even then they couldn't get it right.
The original film wasn't faithful to the novel - which is a GOOD thing. The novel was only ho-hum and I don't think it would've made a good film as it was. The ratio of Hollywood's access to millions of dollars to their lack of original offerings just sickens me. |

Oh man, I'm getting so fricking tired of this remaking in absurdum that I can't even work up a good irritation for this one.
