Anyone notice the HTML glitch where the text is black until you get to the poll results page?
Or is this a reward for taking the poll? ![]() ------------------ Further Proof of my Obsesive-Compusive Disorder |

I haven't had this problem. Maybe it just didn't like your answer.

No when I went to the main page the text was black, same as the background. You could highlight it and read it plus I could still see the links. When I took the poll the new page had the white text like normal. I thought it was a fluke thing but that was on my work PC, now I'm at home and it happpened again.
I am using Netscape too, if that matters. ------------------ Further Proof of my Obsesive-Compusive Disorder |

It does it sometimes in reviews too look at the supplement section of this review.
Review It looks like there is nothing there, but it's just that the text is the same color as the background. If you highlight it you see something along the lines of "Only a trailer is included on this DVD". Either that or I am completely out of my mind and need to be institutionalized for my own good, cause I see the words. |

I'm tellin' ya man, I'm reading white text on black backround. I'm not saying you're crazy, I'm not saying it's your computer (obviously, since it's happening at home and at work). I have no idea about the Netscape thing. I'm just saying that you have an issue somewhere, and it's not happening to all of us. Just lettin' ya know.

If you click that review link and look at the supplement section do you see where it says
"There are no supplements on this disc - not even a dang theatrical trailer." in white? I am begining to think I need to get out more. |

That review you linked to has been fixed. I see the problem you are referring too on the main page with Netscape (doesn't happen in IE). Netscape isn't so nice about "messy" html code. I'll get it fixed up soon. Thanks! ![]() ------------------ David W. Anderson - dave@horrordvds.com Webmaster - www.horrordvds.com |

I used that review as an example you also have the "hidden" black on black text in the reviews of The House on Sorority Row, Dead Night, and Malice. I know theres more but thats it off the top of my head.
I notice it every once and a while, not a big deal but then I saw it on the main page. I figured you guys knew about it and would fix it and I was just making a joke like you guys were making us take the polls. I guess I am the only obsessive compulsive insomniac using Netscape that frequents your site... |

Actually, I had the problem at work (don't tell) where I use Internet Explorer. But cause it went away when I took the poll, I didn't give it much thought.
And jolt, you're not the only Netscape-using (at home) insomniac who reads this. ![]() (UPDATED BELOW) You know, now that I think about it, I was using Netscape that day. D'oh! [This message has been edited by AceRimRat (edited 12-20-2000).] |

Yeah I need to go through the reviews and clean that all up. Shouldn't take long, but like you said no big deal...
