Angry In the Mouth of Madness problem

Just got this though the post today and thought I would give it a watch but at around 85min mark the picture and sound stutter and then the player switches it self off.

My player is a Pioneer 565. I also tried it on my old 626 and it worked fine on that. Before you ask the disc is not scratched and the is in perfect condition as far as I can see.

Any one else have problems with this disc? I am a bit pissed off as I really like the movie and my player has never given me any problems in the past.

Haven't had any problems with my copy, which I've had well over two years, and I watch it a lot.

I really didn't like this film when I saw it in theaters, but recently I've been pretty impressed with some things I've read. Might want to revisit it. Haven't seen the DVD anywhere lately.

I really like this movie. I enjoyed it for the most part but will admit that it's not the easiest movie in the world to follow. This is however, one of Carpenter's better movies in some time.
