Exclamation A little Dawn of the Dead Boxset news...

From DVD Maniacs:

Quote:
This past Friday, a new commentary track was recorded with the four of the original cast members: Ken Foree, Gaylen Ross, Scott H. Reiniger, David Emge! This is the cherry on the top of the cake!* This is an excellent addition to the final set is shaping up to become the version to end all versions!* A lot of credit should got to AB for putting this together. Getting people together from different locations is a sometimes a huge task, but they did it.

Gaylen Ross on the commentary is great news. Now she needs to show for a con.

This is really great news, but I really pray that all 3 versions of the film are in the set. Document of the Dead would be nice too, but the 3 versions would be the best news for me.

Just get the Synapse DVD of it

I have it and it is great and in good shape ... no need for another release and take note it is long enough to warrent a disc all to itself.

Tough luck fellas, Document of the Dead has already been confirmed as a part of the box set and yep, you guessed it, less features than the synapse release

Felshner confirmed it at a con recently. It was posted on this board (and others) but I cannot find the thread.

Very bad news Shannafey, shame on you. How can it be called definative with a doc of the dead w/o all the features of the Synapse disc? Word is that it is missing the deleted scenes and it is missing the commentary. Two Thumbs Down. Will I be picking up the box set no matter what is on it? YES!

I don't really care about the deleted scenes or commentary on Document of the Dead as long as the documentary itself is included.
