Bought this the day it came out and paid near full MSRP $29.99 for it; and while it's much cheaper now, I've no regrets. IMO, it's the best audio/video presentation of any Bava film on disc and it's gotten a lot of play in my house. It's a treasured DVD of mine -- a highlight of my Bava collection. I heartily second the recommendation! Pure viewing bliss... ahhhh...

Stumbled across this article about an opera written to go along with Hercules and the Haunted World.
The article is more about the unruly yutes and the state of modern cinema destroying our minds and such. But, one, it was a nice appreciation of the film. And, two, I really would have like to see this show.

I sold off my copy a year ago for considerably more than I paid for it when it was a new release. It's a neat movie but nothing I needed to keep.
