A new update....

Again a little list of movies I want to buy next.
I hope to have enough money next month.
  • Blood And Black Lace/Blutige Seide LE -->I intend to include at least one Bava movie in every next order. This one I just need.
  • Eyeball -->Lenzi is very underrated IMO.I just have to have this one.
  • Perfume Of The Lady In Black -->Don't know this one but it's said to be one of the best.Raro's releases are overall very good.
  • Schoolgirl Killer -->Margheriti's Giallo
Now I'm not completely sure about the Margheriti flick.Reviews didn't really convince me.
I'm also interested in Soavi's Sect/La Setta and his Church/Chiesa.At least with those I know what to expect.
Also I'm interested in Cozzi's Giallo "The Killer Must Kill Again".
Any thoughts/suggestions?

I am loving the Argento boxset I got for Christmas. The quality of these discs are remarkable IMO. I already have the German Blood and Black Lace version and it too is cool packagaing and picture quality.

Xploited cinema sells it.

Bird With The Crystal Plummage
Cat of Nine Tales
Tenebre (fully uncut a la Raptor version-Anchor Bay version is cut)
Phenomena (Integral Version) Some extras scenes of dialogue were not
dubbed in English. There are no subs for these parts.

Overall, I have only seen Bird and Phenomena and I think this will be as good as they get until HD or Blue Ray. The Box is a piece of art unto itself. The OOP Dragon version has Eng dialogue but the Integral scenes are still in Italian. It does have Eng subs, however, you have to toggle the subs on and off for these scenes and the picture quality is said to be lacklustre.

To say the least, I am really impressed with this boxset.

I already have those movies on dvd.I have the complete Tenebre by A-film,Raptor's version still has some scenes missing.
So should I include Schoolgirl Killer?
I also haven't seen Contamination yet.

Eyeball is amazing... one of the best giallos I've seen. It's not meant to be taken very seriously, but it's quite fun. Hope you enjoy it.

I just got: Phenomena (Integral), Eyeball, and Unnamable/Unnamable II. My next order will probably be for some of those coffin box sets from anchor bay uk.

Found out I actually bought the last copy of Blutige Seide from Xploited!Glad I did!
Now I'm more than happy with it!
Did some searching and the only copy I could find was a 75(=almost $100!) copy on some German auction site....
