Elvira's Haunted Hills

Anyone seen this?

I just bought for like $8 (Can) used but I'm not sure if I'll ever watch it.

What are you waiting for ? I would defenitely watch it. Where did you find it by the way. I live in Canada and never got the opportunity to find it. I'm a big fan of the first one and can't wait to see "Hanted Hills".

I got it at a CD Plus location here in Newmarket.

I think it might be a special order only thing if not an internet only thing usually.

I picked it up mainly for reactions from the clerks. I like to buy incongruous items. Today was Elvira's Haunted Hills and The Royal Tenenbaums (definetly at opposite ends of the film spectrum).

I liked Elvira's Haunted Hills quite a bit. It's not like the first movie at all so if you go in expecting that then you'll probably be disappointed. It's more of a throwback to the old Vincent Price haunted mansion movies. I'd say give it a watch.

Well I wasn't a huge fan of the first...I have it only for it's cheese value (pretty much why I bought this)

I'm watching it now and I'm about halfway through...

It's definetly a 'so bad it's good' kind of film. Tons of over-acting abounds...and it's nice to see Mary Scheer doing something post-Mad TV.

Although Cassandra Peterson better hang up the wig and push-up bra she's really starting to look her age (and that ain't nice looking).

FYI: she's 55 in September

I dunno. She's pretty hot for 55.

This movie is great fun, but you probably need to be a fan of Elvira first. If you love her, you should be pretty set with this movie. I know I enjoyed it, especially her big song and dance number.

And she still looks hella good.

I bought the dvd for five dollars used about a year ago. I wasn't disappointed. Its more of a spoof than the first movie.
