MANHATTAN BABY is too expensive for 29.99 MSRP, espoecially for so far bare bone, considering I felt it was one of Fulci's worst. Quite sleep inducting. BALCK CAT is pretty cool however, so you should get that one. HOUSE BY THE CEMETARY, unless some features are added I am happy witht he Diamond DVD and the import DVD. A for BLADE IN THE DARK< I HOPE it ISNT the long version, for that was BORING! Keep the fastpaced shorter cut, keep the violence intact, but the pacing on the shorter cut was much better for me. The long version was like a padded TV print or something.

I'll be saving all the Gift Certificates & Cash I can until 4-10-01.

FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC is a must-own! I think I might get Max Overdrive just for fun. I don't think it's a good film, but it's truly one-of-a-kind. A guy gets strangled by his walkman. Can anyone explain this?

It'a good film in the sense that it holds your attention throughout the movie. It's like a fun little thrill ride. Other than that, yeah, it's crap. Although I don't think it's crap, Predator is like that. Once you get through the slightly drawn out opening sequence, it's "action movie" personified till the very end. That and Aliens. Those two define the genre action film for me. (Wow, how'd I get those two in a post about Maximum Overdrive?)

Well, Emilio Estavez is in Maximum Overdrive, and he was in Wisdom with Demi Moore, who was in Seventh Sign with Michael Biehn, who was in Aliens.

And Sigourney Weaver was in Aliens with Biehn, and she was in Alien Resurrection with Dan Hedaya, who was in Commando with Schwarzenegger.

That help?

Actually, it'll be an expensive year! So many good back catalog titles coming out from the studios.

I can't wait for the camp classic, Reform School Girls to hit DVD!

It's due out on 3/13 and surprisingly, there are some decent extras on it. The audio commentary with Tom DeSimone and Martin Lewis (Why?) sounds like fun.

Yeah, it's such a fun, trashy flick! Too bad, they couldn't get Sybil Danning for the commentary.
DeepDownTraumaHound, thanks for responding. Good to know there's another fan!
