Shivers oop image entertainment dvd question?

i am thinking about getting the region 1 release. Is there any defects or pixelation problems or anything else i need to know?

I owned the Image DVD at one time. There are a few scenes that I noticed aliasing. It is full frame too in case you didn't know. I currently own the Prism region 2 import. I think the image quality is about the same as the region 1 except this one is 16X9.

You can get R2 Shivers on the UK Amazon marketplace for about £1.54.

Yeah, I have the Metrodome R2 release. It's great, 16x9 and the image quality is quite good. It's now OOP, so you'd have to get it off eBay.co.uk or possibly the Amazon UK Marketplace.

I also own the R2 16x9 disc, which is quite nice. I didn't realize that it was also OOP now...

i wonder why anchor bay never released this on dvd there collector's edition vhs was awesome the cover art and the green vhs case.

After the nice job that was given to Rabid a handful of years ago, I've been clamoring for the same for this ever since. I hope someone puts this out soon.

I still haven't opened my image copy. Last time I saw the movie was theatrically.

The IMAGE DVD is actually in pretty bad shape, video-wise. I think. I noticed a ton of scenes that looked like crap.

I have had my Image release for close to 10 years and besides full screen there is no problems.Of course I was used to the 80's Astral VHS release.

Seriously, (if you're region-free) go for the Metrodome R2 release. It's OOP but it goes for really cheap on eBay. (Like $5, brand new.)

I was under the assumption that they were already kind of a couple. Or maybe I missed something. I've only seen it once and that was a few years ago.

I have the UK Metrodome version (anamorphic, 83 mins) and the German Splendid Film version (anamorphic, 84 mins, uncut). If you want it Uncut and 16 x 9, buy the german version. It's also english friendly.
