Ever since the end of December, it has really slowed down in the new release department. The Giallos seem to be doing well though.

What I am anxious for is the 14-Disc Ultimate Superman Collection, and the new Nightmare on Elm Street Infinifilm.

The 14-disc Superman collection will have all 5 Superman movies and each will be in 2-disc editions:

- Superman: Original Theatrical Edition (will have commentary by producer Ilya Salkind)
- Superman: Special Extended Edition
- Superman II: Original Theatrical Edition (will have commentary by producer Ilya Salkind)
- Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut
- Superman III (will have commentary by producer Ilya Salkind)
- Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
- Superman Returns

Death Ship (Le Bateau de la mort) comes to region 2 DVD 30 October ... first time on DVD for either region 1 or 2 so those in North America with region free players should want to pick this one up as well.

wonder why so many 80s slashers still havent gotten dvd releases?i have about 50-75 listed still with no dvd release still.

I'm a little happy. Code Red is working on Boarding House, The Dead Pit and Silent Scream. I asked them about the alien movie Without Warning and they said mgm has it locked up.

Also I read that sony is looking at doing The Burning, but no date yet.

i hope Code Red gets many more slasher films.I hope we get The Burning also very soon.
