Anybody receive their copy yet? Ordered the regular DVD version a little over a month ago, and I haven't received anything yet.

I got mine a couple weeks ago, but it did take a little over 3 weeks to get to me. I would shoot Massacre Video an email though if it's been over a month.

That description is convoluted and makes no sense to me. Is this another VHS release or some old school audio cassette or a DVD wtf? Also why would anyone want to drop cash on another stupid DVD? Why not just make more of the big PINK Box/VHS tape with limited Edition poster? OK Katatonia you win these nostalgia cash cow releases are indEEd retarded.

It's the DVD with a special imported case made in Germany, includes a cassette tape of the soundtrack (as opposed to a CD) along with other goodies. It makes sense that they didn't reprint the earlier limited edition as that was a "limited edition" so to print it again would defeat the purpose and tank any future "limited edition" sales.

This come in the German styled "Hardboxes" which are very popular there as they're reminiscent of the big box VHS clamp shell cases. You can get them in small, "kleine Hartbox," which are no bigger than regular DVD cases or large, "große Hartbox," which are about the size of the large VHS cases.

They're pretty sweet, I use to collect them, but since the recession I've cut myself off. This is a model they have over in Germany/Austria where they print up a few hundred with sensational artwork and sell them first come first serve. There's a few others on this forum who collect them too. I think it's a fun thing, much better than the VHS ones because at least you have a modern disc which is much more practical.

Now who wouldn't want the "Large Hardbox"

But yeah, this doesn't do anything for me. I like the movie, but $45 is more than the film's original budget.

I'm still waiting for the MV cash cows to join the forum. Then give us the obligatory bullshit speech about how they don't make any money. Of course they don't make any money the elitist reselling trolls rake in the cash. Now to make up for selling the VHS big box dirt cheap they raise the price on the DVD to $45 and stick it in a big box. Yeah yeah nice try dippy jokers not falling for your quick buck scam.

Still copies of Repligator left

And a small defense for Massacre Video, they have limited the number of copies you can purchase to 2. I wouldn't worry about high costs, you can get the German stuff fairly cheap on the open market these days. Idiots can ASK for more trying to resell them, but rarely do I think they get that.

Anybody get their copy of Repligator yet? I know he had to replace a bunch of crushed boxes but I thought he said they would all be shipped by July 21st?
