Giallo Collection #2:Let the speculating begin...

According to Jason at Eurohorrordvds.net,"Death Laid An Egg" will not be part of this 6DVD set.So what do you guys/gals think will be the replacement?
I hope they include "Four Flies On Grey Velvet" (I doubt it though).According to alot of people "Death..." is/was the best of the lot."Four Flies.." would sell this box, especially if they limit it to this box only!!(they done that before you know ).
So what do YOU think/hope will be included??

Ps:And if you mention some obscure titles, please tell a bit more about them because I don't know every Giallo ever made (.............yet ).

As long as they are obscure and weird I'll be interested. I can't help it. Shame about death laid an egg, I had a boot, it was so bad I couldn't get into it, I was looking forward to this BU release.

That's a shame about Death Laid an Egg, that was the title I was most looking forward to from the set. What's the reason it's not included? I check out eurohorrordvds pretty often and didn't see any mention of this news, I guess I must've missed it.

As for what could be included to take it's place, I would be happy to have Lenzi's "Eyeball" , I've wanted to see that film for awhile.

I would be happy if they replaced it with ANY giallo (since I'm somewhat new to the genre) but as Jeff mentioned, Eyeball would be a good choice. It sounds fun.

You know, I have seen so few giallos (outside of current releases) that to be honest, they could put in whatever they wanted and I'd be buying. I most want to see the third "daughters" film.

eyeball's real title is "Gatti rossi in un labirinto di vetro" which means "Red cats in a labyrinth of glass" !!! that realy doesn't say a thing about the film, but is still a very cool title....

and a cool film, one of my favorite giallo's.

06/03/2004No Death Laid An Egg DVD From BlueUnderground?
Bad news for all of you Giallo Fans out there who were expecting to pick up the upcoming Giallo Collection from Blue Underground.Death Laid An Egg will NOT be part of the set and is NOT slated for release at this time from Blue Underground. This is a real shame as I know many fans were eager to see this film finally get a Region 1 DVD release.

And in this thread: http://horrordvds.com/vb3forum/showthread.php?t=19142

They did say that the next Giallo Collection would be released early next year. At this point now, I'm not sure what film will replace it in the set. I was really looking forward to the BU disc too.

So, it looks like the Japanese DVD is the way to go. It is a very nice DVD and I should have a review up soon for it.

Oh, I believed you with the news Crystal Plumage! I was just curious if there was a reason why it wasn't going to be included, I thought you ment there was an explanation for it's exclusion on Eurohorrordvds. Thanks anyways though.

I personally could do with some Martino in this set.
And after seeing only two Lenzi Gialli I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy Eyeball too.Still haven't bought the r2 version yet.
I hope Blue Underground will come with more info soon.
Oh,and after watching Autopsy yesterday,I would love to see Crispino's The Dead Are Alive, a.k.a. The Etruscan Kills Again in anamorphic widescreen (never seen it,but the version available leaves much to be desired).
And another one I'd like see is Dallamano's What Have You Done To Our Daughters (seems the UK disc is hard to get and wasn't that great overall).
Any more interesting movies to add to the list?
