toxies triple terror dvd sets

I love Troma....was in the local best buy and found two 3-dvd sets of toxies triple terror for 9.99 a piece.
Set 1 has demented death farm massacre, deadly daphnes revenge and curse of the cannibal confederates.

Set 2 has Beyond evil, evil clutch and chillers.

Looks like there are going to be seven 3 disc sets.
That made my day.On top of that I picked up Stacey and then 2 cd's,the new skinny puppy and otep cd's.Sometimes I really like BB.

I don't think these were even released by Troma, were they? I mean on DVD... I seem to recall thinking it strange that another DVD label would use Toxie to promote movies not being release by Troma on DVD.

This is a collaborative effort from Troma and Brentwood, so I wouldn't expect much in terms of quality.

Troma and Brentwood.......Match made in Hell.

I bought the first two sets pretty cheap. They're indeed released by Brentwood, under license from Troma.

Actually the quality isn't too bad, but nothing to scream up and down about. Each set has 3 DVD's in 3 seperate thin keepcases, all in a box. Each movie has it's trailer.

I think I'll buy Volumes 3 & 4 on Tuesday.

Really? Each movie gets its own DVDs? Then the compression won't be bad at all at least. I was thinking about picking it up before, but now I certainly will.

For $10.00, I might have to pick up the set with Evil Clutch, although it contains a movie (Beyond Evil) that I have in another dvd set from Brentwood.

I'm really looking forward to picking these Troma DVD Sets up. One quick question for those of you who have seen them, do any of the films have ane pop up logos or watermarks pop up during the films themselves? I hope not.

Well, they're mostly very low budget films. So bad they're fun at times. Beyond Evil (in one set) stars John Saxon though, it's a little bigger budget.

Yeah, they're all on 3 seperate one-sided DVD's. I was shocked at this too! They're in clear slim-line DVD keepcases...the kind that are about 4mm thick.

I didn't notice anything like that, I still need to watch a couple of the movies though.

I looked at the reviews on IMDB for all the movies and looks like they all blow.Even though I like cheesy crappy movies sometimes. Other than that I watched Stacy and liked that one.

hmmm...maybe they'll be including The Mutilator in one of the upcoming 3-movie sets.

Here's hoping, anyway.

How do you know Evil Clutch is the rated version or that there even is an unrated version?

There is an unrated version of Evil Clutch, because Rhino used to sell it on vhs. I forgot all about there being an uncut version. Hopefully the one released on dvd is uncut.
