Watch Me When I Kill/Stimme Des Todes - Antonio Bido

My first ever review,I hope you like

I watched this one last week (I have the X-Rated Kult DVD).
It's a very nice late Giallo from 1976.
It's a very straight forward story and the killer's motives are plausible. It has some very interesting murderscenes (one set to some great classical music).
Bido's direction is very good. Some scenes are very Argentoesk and I even thought I saw some Fulci in there. It's a plus and also my comment.I guess Bido was never able to develope his own style. In his Solamente Nero he showed the same Argento influences.Still a great film and better than average IMHO.
The quality of the VCI disc is quite bad according to many people.I didn't buy that one for this particular reason.
This disc by X-Rated isn't the best looking in the world but it's free of specks and dirt. It's just overly dark.No real problem, just turn up the brightness on your tv and all is fine.I don't know how bad the VCI disc is but I would recommend this version to anyone who hasn't seen it.
Few comments on X-Rated's disc:The original title credits are replaced by ugly German credits, but are on the disc as deleted scenes. Also there's a dance scene in the deleted scenes section which has some more credits. These small changes don't really affect viewing though.
Also if you choose the English audio option a message pops up in the lower black bar:
"Only for sale in Germany,Austria and Switzerland"
But you won't see that if you zoom in on your widescreen tv.
One thing I'd like to add.I like the German title more than the English or Italian (The Cat With The Jade Eyes, only to link to the animal oriented titles from the early '70's Gialli I guess).
"Stimme Des Todes" translates "Voices Of Death".You'll understand when you watch this underrated Giallo.
I enjoyed this one very much.If you're into Gialli check this one out if you can.
Here are some screenshots to see the picture quality:

Yeah,Xploited has it but for me the cheapest option was Cinecity,a site specialised in Spaghettiwestern and other Italian cinema. They do ship internationally.
