Did Amityville 2 SE DVD come out in U.K. Today???

It was due in stores today in England anyone get it? Reviews please? Just want to know if it is Region 0 as some sites say and also if it is 100% UNCUT. Thanks

I got this and the double disc edition of Amityville 3-D and all I can say is WOW. It seems that Amityville II is uncut, the bit everyone goes on about, a character getting shot and his blood splatting against a door is there. Amityville 3-D is amazing, the presentation is superb, and each one comes with a set of stills and a hefty booklet. Well worth it.

One scene I also know was cut from the DVD I have was the preist knocking out the black cop with the gun in the hospital. Is that scene included on this S.E. DVD? Also,is it region 0?

Which version didn't include the hospital scene (pics 4&5)?

The UK disc looks very nice. Easily better than the Italian release which is also uncut.

My first U.K. release was missing the father's death the Aussie disc I got was missing the cop getting knocked out. So it looks like this U.K. S.E. is the only COMPLETE version of the film.

Has anyone tried to view their AMITYVILLE 3-D yet? I couldn't get the effect to come off. I tinkered with my settings as recommended on the disc to no avail. I'm glad it comes with the 2-D version as well because that's the only way I'm able to watch it.

the 3D version sucked, it didn't work good no matter how hard i tried. but the cover was great a nice addition to my collection. There is also a swedish release of part 2 on sale cheap with a DTS soundtrack

They just show you some bars, tell you to close one eye and adjust your set; then switch eyes and adjust another setting.

I guess I wasn't the only disappointed person.

I got part 2 and it is BY FAR the best DVD of this movie. ALL 100% UNCUT. It's also region free so it will work on any DVD player. I played it in 3 of my players and on my PC with no problems.
