Talking The Blob remake coming to DVD

Sometime in mid-2001, Columbia/Tri-Star is going to be releasing Chuck Russell's 1988 remake of The Blob on DVD. I think this is an excellent movie that is very underrated. The special effects are outstanding. I liked it even better than the original 1958 The Blob. Hopefully we'll get some behind-the-scenes footage of the FX on the DVD.

Agreed. this movie is very 80s and very cool! It has all the classic elements that made horror movies fun. It was also a good remake! not like the garbage we get now.

Cool news! This remake oozes fun! (HAHAHA)
Tony Gardner's makeup effects are grotesque and very imaginative. Another DVD to look forward to!

I can't wait for this DVD! It had better be a special edition. I love this film very much, and also agree that it is better than the original!
