Where to next?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and kind of new to the whole Asian horror thing too just looking for some suggestions for which movies I should check out next. I've seen the obvious stuff the Ringu series, the Juon series, The Eye, Dark Water and a couple of other bits and pieces but I don't know what other good stuff is out there. I'm not really into gore, not that I'm squeamish far from it it just doesn't scare me so I'm not really looking for schlock, it's really the more supernatural fear filled stuff that I'm after, I'd appreciate anyone giving me some pointers about where I go next to fuel this habit I'm developing.

Cheers

Welcome! My first recommendation if you have not seen it already would be A Tale of Two Sisters. It's a beautiful movie, more psychological than anything, and well worth the purchase.

I'll second Luna's recommendation.
Another one you might wanna check out is The Eye 2. It's fast, fun & creepy. Fresh new story that has nothing to do with the first one.
Not sure why most people hate it though, I thought it wasn't bad at all.

I'll third a vote for A Tale of 2 sisters. Also Onibaba, Kairo, and even if you're not into gore, you owe it to yourself to see Audition.

Thanks for the suggestions, I've seen Audition it didn't do it for me really, I'm more into the Juon style of things, I like ghosts and weird scary stuff like that but I don't want to give the impression that I can't handle gore I like plenty of those kind of movies but it just doesn't scare me, and I think the whole point of horror movies is they should scare you.

A good site for some reviews is at kfccinema

http://www.kfccinema.com/reviews/horror/horror.html

you can also post on their forums. You should checkout some films of Takashi Miike, some great stuff he puts out.

One Missed call
Phone
The Eye 1 & 2
The Quiet Family (black comedy)
Wild Zero

Are films I enjoyed
