What the hell was all that about????????

Started out fine for about 10 minutes then became well.......Blade meets X-Men meets Spiderman..........

Gore and Nudity helped I guess.......

And what the hell was all that bout with melting/swollen/inflated/ballooned body of the Vampira rip-off character????

Cheesiest movie ever?

Saw this a couple of days ago. What a bad bad bad movie, but quite entertaining. Mark Frost is an horrible actor, though.

I haven't seen this, but I'm a Brian Yuzna fan, even though his work is admittingly all over the map (Society, Bride of Re-Animator, and The Dentist are all underrated gems). This one seems like another one of his misses, which means it's probably really AWFUL...

Actually, I just watched Bride today.

Pretty good.

I adore Society, and think ROTLD 3 is fantastic as well. Yuzna's cool in my book for those two films alone. The rest of his work mostly consists of good stuff, like The Dentist and Progeny, but yeah, Faust is just terrible, and I don't think too highly of Beyond Re-Animator either. I'm quite looking forward to his Rottweiler project.

I'm a big Yuzna fan, and Faust: Love of the Damned is a guilty pleasure of mine. Yes there's something terrible about it, yet I can't seem to tear my eyes from it. I think there's a cheesy / comic book element to the film, almost as if that's what he was trying for. Either way, it's still entertaining for me. A lot of people knock films like Beyond Re-animator, but for me it's that over the top quality that makes it so good. Bride of Re-animator wouldn't be what it is if it wasn't for his over the top -- no holds barred filmmaking. I'm glad there's people out there like Yuzna doing what they do. I agree that films like Progeny and ROTLD 3 and the Dentist are gems in their own right. Very much looking forward to Rottweiler.
