Does anyone remember these short films:

I caught these on Showtime back in '81, '82 and '83 and was wondering if anyone knows the titles of them. They're terrific short films.
1.) A janitor is chased late at night in an abandoned office by a carnivorous reel of 35mm film. Yes, it was really a good one.

2.) A sniper in an apartment building is being driven crazy by the bratty kids making all sorts of noise playing in the hallway outside his door. At the close, the bratty girl gets a hold of his gun and takes him out...then begins firing on the film crew that is making the movie. Very cool flick.

Is that with the tape wrapping him up eventually? If so, I haven't seen that in YEARS.

I have been looking for it for years! I am glad to hear I am not the only one to remember it!

Anyone remember one where a husband is always sawing the table and the wife is shaking her eyes (or visa versa) ?

Stop sawing the table! Your always shaking your eyes, shaking your eyes here, shaking your eyes there, why don't you join a shakin rockin roll band?

funny stuff

ahh thanks, thats it! it was killing me I couldn't remember what is was called.

"The Big Snit was nominated for both an Oscar and a Genie, and has won 16 international awards including: The International Film Critics' Prize at the 15th Annecy International Animated Film Festival, Best short Film Award at the Montreal World Film Festival, A Silver Plaque at the 21st Chicago International Film Festival, and the Best Animation Film at the XVI Tampere International Short Film Festival.
Since it's release, The Big Snit has been the subject of worldwide acclaim, from mentions in reference books about animation (it is rated no. 25 in "The 50 Greatest Cartoons" by Jerry Beck), to a night club in London named after the film in 1987. Continuing to be screened at festivals around the world today , The Big Snit is one of the most popular cartoons ever made."

"It's only ten minutes long, and yet it contains a man who is obsessed with saws, a woman who vacuums the bathtub, and a nuclear war. What more could you want in a film?"

I remember one that I saw on USA's Night Flight that was called "Front Page Column One." It delt with a mad scientist doing genetic experiments and some guy being chased by him in an office building. At the end he gets together with his buddy and as they walk away you see that the arm that his buddy has on his shoulder is actually a third arm. Fun stuff.

There was a film I saw some years ago... Canadian short film. I think it was about some band that was being sorta followed by this weird looking alien band... My mind is all hazy but I know the alien band played weird music or something, they had sunglases on. Anyway, it turns out that its just a bunch of film guys making a movie and stuff... then at the very end we see that its a film about a movie crew making a movie about a film crew making a movie about aliens. I think it's called "Road Movie" or something like that... something with Road in the title.
This was years ago.
