Magic is an excellent film that indeed needs a dvd release. Glad you liked it.

Magic is okay... didn't care for it when I first watched it, but liked it a little better the second time around. I still don't think I'd buy a DVD of it, though.

Haven't watched it in years, but it's on that long list of movies that should be on dvd, instead of constant rereleases of the same films!

DDDhouse is actually a Hong Kong business and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. They ship pretty fast, to me anyway, and their prices are right.

Edit: I see you corrected what you said above -- I didn't read the whole thread, oops. Still a great place to buy from though!

If this quote is true:

" The film made over 40 million dollars at the time of release, and thats quite a lot for 1978"

I cannot see why MgM will not put it on dvd. Looks like it was a huge hit back in the late 70s!! WTF mgm??

Yea, this is a great film with surprises. It seems that a region 1 dvd release was
made awhile back by an obscure company. Anyway, MGM needs to work their Magic for a release.

Anchor Bay UK are apparently releasing it as a special edition.
