Violent Naples and The Cynic, the Rat, and the Fist from Alfa Digital

Just ordered these two from Luminous. Kind of a blind buy. Anyone else have these discs? I don't know, 20 beans is a little steep for a bare bones dvd, but the pic quality is apparently pretty good. With my luck, as soon as I get these they'll probably announce a cheaper version with more extras coming from Shriek Show or something. That's usually how it works.

Anyway, comments?...

Is Alfa Digital Luminous's DVD-R label? I was under the impression that it was.

Either way, I've been toying with the idea of ordering their Porno Holocaust release for awhile now.

Regarding Violent Naples. It's not a DVD-R, it is an "officially" pressed DVD. I use the parenthesis because "Alfa Digital" seems to be well you know. But it is not a DVD-R.

I put up some screen shots earlier this month from the DVD over on my site. The transfer has some oddities. Color shifting and such, but it only lasts a few seconds sporadically in the film. Pretty decent transfer overall.
