No I mean made copies.People are making copies and passing them off as original.Don't buy it from anyone who is selling multiple copies even if it says new and sealed or whatever.

It was reported at other forums earlier this year that MGM got the rights and that they were planning on rereleasing it in 2005. I think Dave finally got around to posting it here too, after of course giving luna time to unload hers on ebay.

I remember hearing about a planned DVD re-release also, and then the ebay prices on the OOP DVD dropped a little. Hopefully it's still in the works to be re-released to DVD.

MGM? You'll be waiting a very loooooooooong time for that one. Weren't they(MGM) supposed to release Cemetary Man like two Halloweens ago?

I think maybe you're thinking of FOX.

I was told by an MGM source that they were planning on releasing Lady In White SE. I'll try to do a followup to see if a 2005 date is planned.

MGM is still pumping out some good discs, but you know a barebones version will follow closely behind the SE as that's their new trend.

Just a heads up for those who happen to be surfing the forum...

The Sci-fi Channel is about to play this movie at 9 AM, Saturday morning... that's only half an hour from now that I write this. I have never seen this film before, and the DVD is currently out of stock, but I enjoyed the director's previous film FEAR NO EVIL. Also, has there been any latest news about a DVD release, since the current one is still out of stock?

I usually shy around watching films when they're edited on television, but this one apparently was PG-13 so there shouldn't be too many cuts. I'll post my thoughts afterwards.

Enjoy.

Well I'm glad I didn't spend a heapload of money for this on e-bay, and I don't think I'll be getting a special edition if it ever gets released. Not a bad film by any means, but there were too many Spielberg-isms for my taste. I'll stick to FEAR NO EVIL myself, but I certainly don't regret watching this film. It was OK.

Last time I saw one they were down to the $20-30 range, less than half what they used to be. I got $60 for mine, but that was probably a year ago, then someone else got alomost $100 a few months after that (Luna maybe?), right after that the boots started showing and price dropped.
