My life is ruined. Anyone know where I can find copies for sale? I seriously doubt that any brick-n-morter will carry it, but I can dream.
I asked Michael Felsher about this last weekend, and BCI is just in between pressings, so Savage Streets will eventually be back on the shelves.

I wonder how much the cover will differ since Navarre folded it's BCI/Deimos label. If this is true though, this gives me hope that Horror High (aka Twisted Brain) may still see the light of day.

Trust me, ya won't be disappointed lad! It's delightfully trashy, just entering the mid '80s, shot out in old school super-seedy Hollywood Exploitation fun. It's definately of it's time, I'll say that.

the special features are great, including 3 commentaries and a whole bunch of on camera interviews with the cast

Thanks of the news! At least I know that if my used one is all scratched to hell, there will eventually be a way to replace it.

IF they manufacture more, they will be identical to what has been released. Navarre doesn't have an art department to make any changes. They'd just have the printer reprint paper - it is possible they wouldn't go to the expense of printing the O-Cards though...

Watched this tonight and enjoyed it a whole helluva lot! I love the 80's punxsploitation revenge flicks (ex. Class of 1984, Class of Nuke 'Em High, etc)! And Linda Blair is hot hot hot in this!

Ahh! So BCI is no longer, I am assuming we're not in between prints and this is discontinued. Has anyone had any luck tracking down this DVD for a less than an absurd price? I'm certainly willing to at least shell out 30, possibly, 35 dollars for a used copy but I can't see spending anymore than that no matter how much of a trash masterpiece this film may be.

I dunno. I got mine for $13.99 last year but I had to act fast. Now I can't see it anywhere for less than an "absurd" price. Just keep checking site that have people selling used DVDs and you may get lucky. Eventually.

yeah, these things are always the most expensive right after they go OOP. once the perceived demand dies down, the prices will too.

LOL, yeah, I paid just $11 when it first came out and that was at Deep Discount. If I would have known it was going OOP so fast, I would have bought several!
