Post Return of the Living Dead.... PART 2

What did you guys think of this one? It's been a while since I've seen it, but I remember really enjoying it. Not as good as the original or the third, but still enjoyable. I remember one part that I really loved - someone sticks a screwdriver into a zombie's head, and the head yells "get that damn screwdriver out of my head". Well, it was something like that.

To be honest, I liked 2 better than 3. I still really dig 3 & own a copy, but I felt 2 was more in the fun spirit of the original. Remember the Michael Jackson "Thriller" zombie at the end? (that was in ROTLD2, wasn't it?)

It's an absolute disgrace!
Being a rabid fan of the first one, this one went too far into lame comedy antics. The first one had a terrific balance of comedy and horror.

Most hated scene: zombie aerobics. (UGH!!!)

The Zombie aerobics is a very stupid idea. It's an okay edition, but they could have been a bit more serious about it. Spicey brains? Uhh? No thanks for that one. It was stupid for the simple fact that it has the noble name and uses it badly, but worth a watch.

Personally, I don't think it's as bad as what some people say it is. It's not as good as the first one or the third one, but it does have its moments.

I agree with Mark, this unfunny and lame film is a disgrace to the original! The comedy was so overtly stupid that it was not at all humorous. Dead-Alive is the definitive zombie comedy in my opinion. I think the original ROTLD has some funny parts, but I think of it as a pretty serious zombie film. ROTLD 3 was a good film, but part 2 was pitiful.
