The Witch That Came From The Sea
Over at Xploited Cinema I saw this, and I've heard some very good things about. The cover is a rip off of the frazetta painting, but who cares?
Looks good, but is it? Thanks Alot.

there was a thread on this not too long ago. But anyhoo, i didn't like it. Pretty artsy fartsy with little substance or entertainment value, IMO.

Yeah, there was an older thread on here somewhere. I didn't like the movie much...quite boring, slow, and very dated. Beautiful cinematography by Dean Cundey however...

Ugh... I care. I'm a huge fan of Frank Frazetta's, and I think Frank should definitely get paid for this, or he should sue to at least get the cover changed. Was this the original poster art? EDIT; Answering my own question, it seems like this may have been the original art after all. I know this is for a video release, but it sure looks like theatrical art. It would be surprising to me if Frazetta was never compensated for his idea in some form, and would be especially surprising if there was never any action taken to attempt to get some. Bah!

Could someone tell me whether this DVD came with a chapter index, extra cardboard sleeve or just as a plain and empty amaray case.

Just a plain and empty amaray case as far as I know. That's how my DVD was when I bought it.
