Red face obscure old Horror movies...that should be on DVD

Do you remember those old horror movies that you would rent from 16,000 videos when you were young and fall in love with? Movies like "clownhouse" and "the dead next door"
(I remember always seeing the disgusting fulci "zombie" cover and being so very intigued. i own it on dvd now of course)
On a good note i heard someone was releasing "evil laugh" on DVD. intersting.
i hope this continues. As bad and sometimes mediocre as they are, they are still very entertaining. nothing can compare to 70s, 80s horror. If any one else can think of some please list them here. i need to make a list and let anchor bay, or someone cool, slowly but surely check each one off...

DeepDownTraumaHound, you are correct about Evil Laugh. Program Power Entertainment is going to be releasing of special edition of it sometime in January. As for The Dead Next Door, I heard that Tempe Video has plans to release a special edition of it real soon.

Jbene, Program Power is releasing Nightmare on DVD sometime in 2001.

Anyhow, here's my list of some rarish horror movies that should be on DVD.

1.) Spookies
2.) Neon Maniacs
3.) Flesh Eating Mothers
4.) The Burning
5.) The Prowler
6.) Cemetery High
7.) Shock Waves
8.) Slaughter High
9.) Splatter University
10.) Body Melt

You may already know this, but MGM is actually releasing this as a special edition. Can't wait to see it.

One that I'd really like to see, which has some childhood nostalgic value for me, would be Saturday the 14th - I watched this all the time as a kid.

There's many others though. I really want The Monster Squad, and I may end up buying the old LD if I have to.

The worst horror movie I have ever seen was Dark Carnival. I would love to see it on DVD just for the ability to piss off everybody in a tri-county area at will. If you don't believe that the movie could be that bad, check out the review at SomethingAwful.com:
http://www.somethingawful.com/review...ival/index.htm

I think it deserves a bare-bones DVD release. Besides, the rights could probably be had for a case of Bud.
