Jaws: 30th Anniversary Edition

With the inclusion of the original Oscar-winning sound mix (finally!), maybe Universal got it right this time. Fans of the "whale song" can finally rejoice.

Well, the cover doesn't look "bad-ass", they ruined it. The poster art for this movie is iconic, and to not have it there is a real pity. Maybe it's on the inside?

Oh, and I bought the last super-duper release and have watched it twice. Whale noises or not, this isn't going to be a double dip for me.

This is one DVD that I kept putting off buying. Though I really can't stand Universal, I'll definitely pick it up on the release date.

Being the Jaws superfreak that I am this is a sure-fire double-dip.

I think I might have already said this, but I'm all over this like a fat kid on a cupcake.

I'll be passing as well, I'm satisfied with the previous release.

Yeah, I don't see anything too improtant on this new release that would require a double-dip at this time. I'm happy with the prior SE, plus you have the whole "HD" thing on the horizon so I'm sure it'll get yet another Super Duper SE release after that point. I can wait.

I'm undecided on double-diping. I viewed my current release not too long ago & its pretty darn good.

If it comes out a very affordable price (say, less than $15 in-store) I'll probably dip yet again.

unsure. But I think I'll wait for an inevitable format upgrade a la HD.
