Did the Coupe De Villes ever have an album?

John Carpenter's band, have they had an album? More specifically does anyone have, or ever had any of their output? And even more specifically did Big Trouble In Little China ever make it to an album?

And has anyone played this game that he did the music for?

Sounds pretty good, and they make note of the music!

That promo was indeed the only album they released. I have a rip of it and I do have to say that John Carpenter is an infinitely better director than a singer...

As for the game, I did not play it, but I do have a promo with Carpenter's score for it (and a game rip of the music). It's essentially typical Carpenter - highly effective (and affective ) electronic minimalism - though with a more "otherwordly" ambient touches than normally, apparently to reflect the nature of the game.

I swear, the video for the Big Trouble in Little China theme song from the Coupe De Villes on the 2 disc DVD is one the funniest damn things I've ever seen. I love Carpenter's films, and as far as scoring his films, he's awesome, but that video was so "Kitschky 80's" it was ridiculous. And that's what makes it so much fun.

Yes! I was actually just telling a friend about it today, unbeknowst of this thread. The part where Nick Castle opens the film reel to reveal that poorly keyed in exploding head guy is so classic. The song is a lot of fun too, Carpenter ain't all that bad a singer, either. I'd really like to check out that promo, I had no clue it existed.
