Anyone recommend any good Ghost story movies?

Lately I have been getting into Ghost things I watched 2 documentarys on Realty TV and now I am hooked. I've have gotten a book from the library that I am really enjoying called the Other Side: The Boy Who sees Ghots and I am dying to rewatch the Amytiville Horror remake. So can anyone recommend any other good Ghost movies that are in the style of the Amytiville Horror?

The Changeling is one of the better haunted house stories.

Thanks guys I've seen Poltergeist 1, 2 and 3. I've also seen the Changeling and I have both versions of the Shining on DVD. But I will check out the other ones. Thanks.

Woman In Black (1989 made-for-British-TV) is the scariest ghost movie I've ever seen. It's out of print, but bootleg DVDs can easily be found on Ebay.

Also check out The Innocents (1961), a variation on The Turn of the Screw. It's still in print, VHS only.

The Sentinel and The Innocents are tops when it comes to ghost films. For a more disturbing one, check out The Entity.

I would second the recommendation for Session 9, but that's not a ghost movie IMO.

I second The Devil's Backbone. Definitely one of my favorites. Stir Of Echoes also, very excellent. I'm not a huge fan of The Sixth Sense, but that's only because I've seen it like 5 times (great for a first-time viewing though). I'm not a huge fan of "haunted house" movies like The Amityville Horror though, but Session 9 (although it's a mental ward, not a house) is quite good.
