Man Thing

Anyone seen this little Roughie from Marval??

I'd not heard of it.... Straight to Video here........

Certainly by the numbers......sexy protester, evil factory owner and son, stupid lackeys etc etc.........BUT GEE IT'S NASTY LITTLE BUGGER!!

Very violent for it's heritage and some very odd people get killed.

I will be renting this. I have no shame. There are some Marvel characters that just don't translate well to the live-action screen...and Man-Thing is probably one of them. Still, it's made. No sense crying about it, eh? Just grab the popcorn and kill the lights.

Thanks for the mini-review Criswell.

I think there's another thread on this one. It was run on Scifi channel about 2 weeks ago. That was the first showing of it, but it will be released on DVD as well. I taped it but haven't watched it yet. I know it'll suck, but I want to see it anyway.

Yeah........to tell the honest it was pretty well made. Unlike some others like Daredevil the film actually had a pretty well defined style and setting.

My only real quible with the film was that the Thing was a bit TOO tree-like

I read the articles in Fangoria and saw the pics....I wasn't impressed. Maybe I'll watch it some day when I want a laugh but I've never been a big Man-Thing fan anyway.
