Fright Night II on DVD???

As U can tell, I'm a BIG fan of the 2 Fright Night films. Sure CTHV didn't do much in the way of X-tras for the 1st Fright Night, but its on DVD & that's enough!

My question is, does anyone know which co. owns the rights to Fright Night II?....and furthermore, if & when it will be released??? I know the video I have is by IVE, but didn't that co. go under?

How 'bout Phantasm II & III??? C'mon, someone's gotta know, cough up the 411!

I'm going to guess that Artisan has the rights to this one, since they seem to have retained the rights to just about all other titles once released by Live. Personally, I think the movie sucks but it does have good 'ol Roddy McDowall in it.

Yeah, I'd like to see Fright Night 2 on DVD. Fright Night 1 even made a local release on DVD in Australia.

I recall the VHS rental version of Fright Might 2 in Australia - it came in a coffin shaped box.

Great movies.

It's great to discuss Fright Night with other fans of the movies, I don't know about news of part 2 coming to DVD, I actually did a topic not long ago on it.

Hope it comes out, be great to hear Come to me in dolby digital!
I hope even part one gets released as a special edition, those who make it should know these are popular movies!

Enjoy your day/night

Thanks 4 the info guys!

napalm68,
That coffin shaped box U spoke of must be one cool *ss collector's item.

Will Karras,
I WILL say that part 2 lacked the quality of the original in that there was no character development for the vampire Regine Dandridge (the lead chick vampire I wasted in the cellar). Part of what made the 1st one good was we got to know Jerry Dandridge & why he was after Amy 'n' whatnot (she looked like a past wife a la Dracula, etc.)!

Nonetheless, I still want Part 2 on DVD, then I will feel complete as a Vampire Killer!
