Out of the ones on the list I've only seen HILLSIDE STRANGLER, PHONE, TALE OF TWO SISTERS and WHISPERING CORRIDORS and I enjoyed them all.

I've only seen one of those and I highly recommend it: A Tale of Two Sisters.

I liked Whispering Corridors and Phone. I didn't really like Hillside Strangler but I think I'm in the minority on this one.

..I'm ashamed to admit that I still haven't seen A Tale Of Two Sisters. But everyone seems to love it. I'll probably see it in the next week or so. Probably just blind buy it.

Thumbs up for Snake of June, I had a thread on that a while back and thought it was interesting.

Tartan released Tetsuo in the US? I may have to get it since I traded my old R2 Tartan version. Anyway...Tale of Two Sisters. I still want to see Snake of June and Doppleganger.

Ah, I didn't realize I could do multiple choices. Anyways, here's the ones I'd recommend (on the films alone)

Doppelganger
Memento Mori
A Snake of June
A Tale of Two Sisters
Tetsuo: The Iron Man

As for the others on the list that I've seen, Whispering Corridors is awful, Phone is derivative as hell, although the little girl in it is a great little actress, Sorum is OK, but overall, it's far too slow for its own good, and The Hillside Stranger is rather lackluster, but it has some pretty good performances, and it has the chick from Monster Man dancing around in a skimpy top with no bra. Ahhhh, the '70's

And thanks to this thread, I found out Tartan is release a SE for Tetsuo at the end of the month...I'm all over that one!!

Oldboy is my favorite movie of the decade. I have the Korean version, I doubt very much Tartan can top that.

I opened up my used copy of Alone In The Dark last night, and what do I find? They'd accidentally put Koma in instead. So I watched it. Great acting, excellent atmosphere, a little predictable in parts, but an enjoyable film overall. And it never really bogs down. So yeah, I add that to my recommendations list.

Just a shame I don't have the packaging for it.

Definitely Phone for me. Really enjoyed that one. I like a lot : Nightmare too, which is from the same director, although not a Tartan release.
