I had thought New Line was going to do Alone and Xtro. Any news on extras? I hope Xtro 2 and 3 will be released.

It's about time Alone In The Dark gets a DVD release. I have faith that Image will give it the treatment it deserves.

I'm honestly a bit surprised this one doesn't get mentioned more often.

Last year when the title was first announced, it was said that Jack Sholder would be providing a commentary for Alone in the Dark. Don't know if they ever went through with it though.

I believe they were released by Criterion so yeah they would have a fairly high retail price, but they went OOP last year and of course the prices have skyrocketed all over the net.

From the site:
Next up on September 20th are reissues of Blood For Dracula and Flesh For Frankenstein. Previously released through the Criterion Collection, these discs come with respective 1.85 and 2.35 anamorphic transfers, Dolby Digital Mono tracks, audio commentaries director Paul Morrissey and Udo Kier, new audio recollections from Morrissey and still galleries. "Frankenstein will also include a rare screen test. Retail is $19.99 each

Better sell my crappy non-anamorphic Criterions quick!
