But my point was sarcasm. Demons speaking in 'ancient' human languages is usually pretty funny, especially in this movie.

True. But if you subscribe to Judeochristianity, most demons were running around the earth at the height of these cultures, and then magically disappeared shortly after the Renaissance.

Sure it does, don't be rediculous. The point? The point is that said person has the ability to speak a language that they didn't know before, emphisising the fact that they are posessed by a forign entity - an ancient one at that. Next stupid question...

Talk about a stupid answer. Didn't you watch the movie
Spoiler:
and hear that she went to school and most likely even studied those said languages?

damn, you guys don't stop. lol. i guess this can be entertaing if I whip out some popcorn.

mok - I never will listen to reviews. I held off watching House of Wax for the longest time because of other peoples hatred. Rhetts review sealed the deal. However, I was at the rental store and it was "2for1 Tuesday". I had a hard time finding a second flick so I just grabbed House of Wax. Best horror flick of 2005 I must say. I will for sure check out TEOER next tuesday, along with "Cry Wolf".

Nice try, but I'm not going to get mad simply because I didn't love your movie and you couldn't handle it Ed.

Did she become fluent in three languages before or after she flew to Tibet to master the use of her "second" vocal cord?

This was worth a rental, but barely...really glad I didn't see it in the theater.
