Has anyone seen Campfire Tales?

http://www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=g...2&title=489136

Anyone got any stills or no where I can get a trailer?

Should I buy it or not?

There's two different movies called Campfire Tales. If you're talking the movie with Gannar Hansen then yes I would recommend it. I've had it on video for a long time and got the DVD with tons of extras at Chiller for a good price. One of my personal favorite low budgeters along with The Willies.

He's talking about the Gunner Hansen film, not the one from New Line that is coming out in August.

I picked up the New Line Campfire Tales movie and it looks pretty fine, the only extra being trailers for other films.

I watched the 1997 Campfire Tales for the first time last night. Not perfect but had its entertaining moments. How this one flew under my radar for so long I have no clue, but I'm glad I finally got to see it. Worth checking out if only for the second story.

Spoiler:
"People can lick too!"

I think this is the movie I saw years ago and one of the stories had these creatures terrorizing these people inside a camper. I guess those are the "zombies" the description tells of but I don't remember Gunnar being in the film...then again I saw it ions ago and I probably wouldn't remember him being in it either way.

Okay so there's apparently two films called CAMPFIRE TALES.

There's the one in question made in 1991, and there's another made in 1997.

The one in 1997, without Gunnar, is the one I was thinking of with the "moon people" and has the story, "People Can Lick Too".

I've never seen or heard of the other one till' now.
