Sam Raimi really shows his acting chops in this one. Some may call his performance "over the top", but that doesn't really start to explain it.
Definite fun.

This is one of my all-time favorite bad movies, along with Riki-Oh, Pieces and Bad Taste. Definitely one of the best bad films ever made

It is a film that should be watched with the commentary first. It is hilarious. Bruce Campbell was meant to have the starring role but after Evil Dead he got a S.A.G. card and couldn't, but he does some fake shemping as a leg double.

Within the Woods gave birth to The Evil Dead. Sgt. Strikers War gave birth to Thou Shalt Not Kill... Except. Bruce Campbell stars in the original Sgt. Strikers War, and it is a much better movie than Thou Shalt Not Kill... Except.

A pretty good b movie i thought, had some funny goof ups like for instance a clock keeps changing time in one scene.

I believe said clock was the same one on the wall in Evil Dead.

I love this film. Wish they'd kept the original title of Stryker's War or Sgt. Stryker's War which is better than Thou shall not kill...except, IMO. Looking forward to Josh Becker's Alien Apocalypse on DVD soon!
