Street Trash

Well heres a mixed viewing experience to be sure. I saw this....what 15-18 years ago on cut VHS.

Well now it's on DVD and whilst it lookes a lot better than I remembered it's not as horrifying as I remembered. Just a lot of gooey f/x's repeated in various locations.

Mind you that one scene with the drunken girl was pretty disturbing......shades of Romero to be sure.

Some great one-liners too!! How funny was that doorman at the restaraunt???

"Suck my Dick??........it's dripping down the stairs!!!"

I would have bought this one as well, but I'm gonna hold out for the two-disc set.

I'll be getting it, but no reason to bother until the two-disc set arrives... well, unless you want the single disc exclusive, those bottle labels

I remember reading a article about the film years ago in Film Threat. It was shot in 35mm, so if they had the original elements, it should be a great transfer.

As much as I want this release now, I think I'm going to hold out until the 2-disc set gets a date. Maybe I'll try to email Synapse and get some stickers sent to me.

Same here. It's been 5 years in the making, so a few more months won't hurt.

I got this @ a best buy, but had to travel 30 miles to get it. Well worth the puchase BTW. Thanks all for the recommendations.

I went ahead and bought the disc the other night, since I found it pretty cheap. I'll probably rebuy the 2-disc whenever it comes out, and it won't be a big loss. The transfer looks really good, but the only bonus is the trailer and liner notes booklet...oh, and two stickers.
