I finally got around to watching this, and I must say I enjoyed it for what it is. It's really something close to a Troma flick, which ought to have gotten me on the side of hating it, but somehow it won me over.

I first had issues with the extended version but after re-visiting Street Trash again last year, I must admit I liked it much better.

The extended/unrated or director's cut runs about 11 minutes longer than the old unrated Lightning Video version, which I'm pretty sure was not edited for violence. I'm not sure if any extra gore was added to the longer cut though, but the shorter version certainly got things moving and had a tighter pacing.
I had to get used to the extra 11 minutes.
