Killer Robots/Androids/Cyborgs/Computers
I watched Chopping Mall today, a goofy sample of 80s cheese that represents a popular sub-genre in science fiction and horror: The KILLER ROBOT movie. I started thinking of other malevolent killing machines that have been featured in cinema and television and compiled a short list. I'm sure there are about a hundred more so please contribute...
KILLER ROBOTS/ANDROIDS/CYBORGS/COMPUTERS Killbots from Chopping Mall T-800, T-1000 & T-X from the Terminator series NOVAC robots Gog and Magog from Gog Robot Gunslinger (Yul Brynner) from Westworld Battledroids from the Star Wars series Hector from Saturn 3 Mark 13 from Hardware ED-209 enforcement droids in the Robocop series DV-8 from Crash and Burn Ro-Man from Robot Monster Emperor Omus (Jack Palance) robot army from The Shape of Things to Come The robots David Hasselhoff fights with in Starcrash Mechagodzilla from the Godzilla series Cylons from the Battlestar Galactica series Dr. Totenkopf's giant robot army from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow Daleks, Cybermen and Autons from the Doctor Who series The planet killer from Star Trek - The Doomsday Machine Dr. Daystom's M-5 from Star Trek - The Ultimate Computer The blade-wielding, self-replicating killing devices from Screamers HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey
