I know everyone here except me hates Buffy, but...
davisdvd.com is reporting that the first season will be released on DVD on 1/15/02, after a year-long delay.

LOVE Buffy. I think its the finest fantasy show thats been on tv in the past ten years. Its got fine drama, great fights, neat mythology, well defined characters, and most of all fresh, funny wit. Cant wait for the DVDs. I actually pre-ordered them (a year ago?) when they jumped the gun saying it was coming out in the Spring.

I really like the show, because it is the right mix of horror, comedy, drama, martial arts, and a good soundtrack.
I already have Season 1 and 2 on dvd, and season 3 is going to be released this november here in germany. |

Buffy and Angel....
....are two of my favourite shows. They've filled the gap that was left when Highlander: The Series finished.
There's a lot to reward the faithful viewer of these series....I love 'em to bits. |

I put Buffy in the same genre as Army of Darkness - sarcastic horror comedy. And I like that genre a whole lot.

I actually like Buffy and Angel. I never did in the past, but started to get into them a year or so ago. I really don't like the general horror/comedy mix and prefer things serious, but like with Hercules and Xena, I came around. I especially like Angel as it reminds me of Forever Knight, right down to the theme music. HIghlander was THE show though.

I'm not really a fan of the show, but is Sarah Michelle Gellar the biggest babe in Tinseltown, or what ?!!!. There aren't too many of her unique kind around, especially in Hollywood, but she's just my type of woman. I know everyone's fave on this site appears to be Jennifer Connelly, but even she can't hold a candle to Miss Gellar. Sorry, folks !.

The episode where Buffy reacts to a certain family member's death are among the finest moments in television history! Gellar proves herself here to be a performer of wide emotional range, depth and sincere comitment. Gellar should have won an award for this truely phenominal performance.

If I remember Buffy has been robbed of an emmy every year.
It was nominated once for best writing (HUSH), but didn't win. But how THE BODY didn't get nominated left me speechless. |
