Kriminal

After watching Diabolik last weekend I started to wonder about this one.Another Fumetti made into a movie (or movies).
The first (I think) was directed by our good and reliable friend Umberto Lenzi in '66 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060608/ ) and the second in '68 by someone else (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061952/ ).

So are these movies good enough to deserve an international release?I know I would like to see them!NoShame are you listening?
There's a release of both but only in Italian:
Kriminal: http://www.absurd-online.dk/shop/pro....asp?id=DVD758
Marchio di Kriminal: http://www.absurd-online.dk/shop/pro....asp?id=DVD759

Could anyone here tell me some more about Kriminal? Most sites are in Italian and it would take ages to find out if the movies are good.
Thanks in advance!

It's not as exciting as Diabolik, visually, not as colorful, etc... The casting is also less interesting although the chicks in this movie are really, really hot! Overall, this is pretty fun in the evil-doing James Bond type genre, probably the best of its kind after Diabolik, but don't expect a masterpiece... (personally this genre reminds me of the french Fantômas movies I used to watch when I was a kid, so I really enjoy it!) I thought the comic-book style opening credits were the best part in the film! The skeleton-costume looks really awesome too! I'd say it's worth seeing for Lenzi fans... Though personally, I'd watch anything by Lenzi...
I'd really like to see his giallo's (Orgasmo/So Sweet So Perverse/Paranoia/Knife of Ice...) released on dvd first though!!!

Our good friend meddle just put up a DVD review of Kriminal. It's from the Italian DVD (see first post) but it looks just lovely!
I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff.

There's still so much out there that needs an international release.

"Kriminal" and its sequel "Il marchio di Kriminal" are both crying out for region 1 English language versions. The only fumetti's that I know of that are released in region 1 are Danger: Diabolik (Paramount) and Satanik (Retromedia).

It looks worn and the cropping does present a problem since it is a 2.35:1 film.
