A question about returns at B & Ms?

I recieved another copy of Suspiria LE in the mail today. The place I ordered it said out of stock before it shipped my copy so I ordered it elsewhere, then today I got it from the 1st place today. Now what I would like to know is if there is a store ie. Best Buy that I could return this to without a reciept to exchange for something else? I could just send it back but I thought I would rather drive locally instead of wasting all the time using the mail. Any help would be appreciated.

The store that I know for a fact that would accept a return without a receipt is Wal-mart! Target & K-mart will do it if U b*tch long enuff! Only problem is I don't believe they carry Suspiria so it might not scan in they're database!

Take it to Best Buy or Media Play, they will give you store credit for it or let you pick out something to exchange it for. I had to do this a couple of times when i did not have my receipt.

Lucky You! When I bought a 2nd player I got some free DVDs through the mail I already had. (and they were sealed and had the bar code instead of a "PROMO ONLY" white box). I tried returning it to my local Best Buy & they were real *ssholes about it! At 1 BB I said they were a gift & they said, "U should have been given a 'gift' receipt (w/o the price)" & didn't accept the return. At the 2nd BB I said I bought 'em there, but misplaced the receipt, but told 'em the sob story "....but they're unopened". they busted out with, "the store policy is EVERYTHING needs to be returned with a receipt! No receipt, no return!" What a bunch of peckers at BB! I ended up going to Wal-mart!

That is really weird, they always would give me store credit. There was only one time when I tried to return a sealed copy of Armagedon and they told me they could not take it because it did not have the "right barcode" even though it scanned. It was really stupid but I went to Media Play and had no problem. Overall though, I have had very few problems with them. Sorry they can be dicks sometime.

I've had this idea that I haven't tried yet. My covers for my Halloween and Evil Dead cases are all fucked up, so do you think I could buy a new copy from Best Buy and return my old copy?
