Cocksuckers aside, I love the film and I'll be buying it ASAP!

Hmmm.... I don't know what's been going on in this thread, but I'll chime in to say I've heard lots of good things about this film and I'm glad to see it's getting a release this fall. Is this going to be another MBV situation where there's an uncut version they won't release or will I be satisfied with it's current incarnation? Either way I'm going to buy it. Sounds awesome.

I don't think that there is much to cut from this film so I doubt that there will be a more complete version anywhere. I have a DVD-R of this movie and I saw it a few years ago at a festival and they seemed to be the same as the late night TV version that I saw as a child. I'll be getting the disc when it comes out since the video quality is sure to be a lot better than what I have.

Does anyone know the aspect ratio? For the life of me I can't remember the ratio of the theatrical version. It may have been 1.33:1, like the video.

Wow, I finally revisited this film after over twenty years and it was excellent, just as I remembered. Now I REALLY can't wait to get this on DVD!

That is what I found when I did a search on Amazon.com.

I would rather have the original art, but that cover is at least visually pleasing. Compared to the current batch of horror DVDs they are putting out, that is high art.

it's okay art...but let's give away the plot in that tagline, shall we? The art actually looks similar to the original art of "The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane" or even "The Child".

DVD Drive-in has a review up!

Sucks that it is barebones, but I'll be buying for sure. Sounds like another excellent Paramount transfer.

Uh..... Isn't that kind of the point of a tagline? To give some idea of what the movie is about? I've yet to come across a movie that didn't explain the plot somewhere upon the packaging. That tagline is about as vague as they come.
