Svengoolie (Chicago area) on DVD?

I am in the Detroit area and I used to watch the Son of Svengoolie here. They stopped airing his shows many, many years ago but I understand he is back on as "Svengoolie" in Chicago at least. Is there anyone out there that has taped some of his recent shows?

Hey Dude! Svengoolie is back on here in Chicago. He's just as corny as ever. Unfortunately I never thought of taping it. He's on every Saturday afternoon, usually playing one of the Toxic Avenger movies. Do you remember when he showed The Creature From The Black Lagoon in 3D?

I just heard about him being back on Tuesday, here's what's on this Saturday:

The giant locust invasion of Chicago makes its final attack this Saturday night at 11 pm as Svengoolie presents his final run of “Beginning of the End.” It’s the last Sven contracted showing of the camp classic, as 1950’s Chicago is attacked by giant grasshoppers, created by radiation! Peter Graves is the agricultural genius who helps fend off the attack in a classic scene at the Wrigley Building, where the ‘hoppers obviously are crawling on a still photo of the building! There’s plenty of “Sven-surround” fun, and you see what Chicago looked like in 1959! This will be your last chance to see this Sven version of the movie so, don’t miss “Beginning of the End ”on…

Svengoolie, Saturday night at 11 pm on WCIU-TV channel 26 “The U!” (Followed at 1 am by classic Sven on our sister station WWME-TV channel 23 “Me-TV”; and channel 223 on most Comcast digital systems!)

We get Me-TV on Comcast and they also show the 60's Batman back to back with The Green Hornet. I recognized the guy who played Svengoolie in one of the commericals, so it probably is him now again too. I'll have to see this Saturday, I'm certainly setting my DVR. This is a good movie that was also MST3ked so well.

Also a quick note to anyone with Comcast, Something Weird is in OnDemand now. They also cycle through everything so unlike most other OnDemand channels who let the same 'ole stuff linger when the time goes up on a program, on Something Weird it's gone.
