Full Moon Direct: Worth Doing Business With?

I was looking at the site today and noticed they'll be releasing a Subspecies boxset and they're offering a few Puppet Master statues I'm interested in. Has anybody odered from them since they re-launched? Knowing the history of the company and what a good businessman Charlie is, I'm a little hesitant to order from them without knowing whether people are actually getting their orders or not. Also, can they even release the first three Subspecies films legally or is this gonna be another Puppet Master box set situation where they're eventualy stopped by Paramount? Speaking of which, they are even selling the old PM sets for $100 each. Any info or experiences is appreciated.

i believe the Subspecies boxset is going to be the same as their "import" dvds, basically a loop hole so that FM can release them. I've ordered from them several times with no problems at all.

i haven't had a problem ordering from them either... true though that i've never actually ordered from them.. but that just goes to further concrete my statement that i've never had any problems with them...

**yes this is the most blatant example of spam ever!**

I haven't yet ordered from them, but that Subspecies set shall be mine.

Still haven't received the Puppet Master set. Never responded to emails. Makes me a little worried.

That makes two of us.

I figure they may have a backlog of orders / may be closed for Christmas. But I ordered the box set a few days after it went on release and they've never responded to my e-mails. It's a little frustrating to say the least.

I'd planned on buying a fair bit from Full Moon but I'm starting to have second thoughts.

Anybody else waiting on the Puppet Master box / replies to e-mithers?

If I don't hear anything by the 28th I will file a claim to Paypal. At that point it would have been 2 weeks.

Yep, I was really hoping to have my set for Christmas Day. Wouldn't be too bad if I knew where the order was up to, i.e. caught up at customs, etc.

As long as it arrives, I'll be a happy bunny but it would have been nice to just receive an acknowledgement, etc.

I have one more chance tomorrow. The post office is usually closed on Saturdays here but one of the workers said there's a truckload of parcels coming tomorrow morning and he's gonna open for awhile.

Well, Santa must have heard my wishes because the Puppet Master box arrived this morning in a large box (final UK post before Christmas). Looks like it shipped on the 15th December.

I'd read in the other Puppet Master thread about DVD sets rattling around loose inside their packing boxes - pleased that my box came with some paper packing to avoid being thrown around.

Thank you, Full Moon, didn't doubt you for a second!

Definitely a Christmas treat, without a doubt.

I placed an order several days ago and mailed them to ask if their 10 $ shipping fee ws enough for international orders. My credit card was charged but as to this day I still haven't received a reply. I sure hope they come through!
