Slaughterhouse Of The Rising Sun

Pretty cool flick about a disturbed girl who just got released from a mental home and hooks up with a group of murdering Manson-like hippies. This film has a neat and not corny 70s setting. There are a few trippy psychedelic moments, groovy 70s muzak, a few gory killings. This film also pays homage to Let's Scare Jessica To Death while taking a bow to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Last House On The Left. Good stuff, worth checking out.

For some reason, I passed this one up on the rental shelf many times. I guess this will be on my next-to-see list now!

Those poor whores.
Those poor, poor whores.

I really liked this movie. It's all over the place and totally off the wall, but in a good way. It's not scary at all, but it is a hell of a send-up/homage or whatever it is you want to call it. Good times. Thanks for the recommendation Billy.
